work + learn
The Shine Community will provide a place of meaningful work and training for various levels of abilities and interests. We identify and assess strengths, talents and gifts through interactions and utilize them to fulfill God-given purpose and to serve others. For some, the hands-on experience will prepare them for future employment. If you're interested in our work program, please contact Mary at for updates.
The Shine Community and Loving Touch Mission are partnering to provide a free and fun four-week class on arts & crafts for parents and/or caregivers. The goal of the class is to have wonderful fellowship, make meaningful connections and use creativity to serve others through arts & crafts. Arts & crafts created through this class would be available for online sale via The Shine Community Store and all proceeds would benefit adults with disabilities served by the two non-for-profit organizations. The class is free with a commitment of four weeks and registration is limited and required. There will be a nominal material charge for those who want to take their creation home! Please contact Mary at for more information.
